I was born June 15, 1984, into a believers' family in India. My parents who loved the Lord wholeheartedly tried to bring me up in godly ways. They sent me to Sunday school, worship services and all other spiritual programs. Besides, they encouraged me to pray and read the Bible daily and made me a part of family devotions and prayer meetings.

Even though I was disciplined in all these ways, I had no love for God. I went after the world and enjoyed its pleasures, not knowing these would only put me in trouble. Gradually, I was entrapped in the vicious trap of Satan and became his slave.

However, I was regular in attending church services. One day it so happened that I went to church little early. While sitting alone in the church, I felt to read the Bible for sometime and just turned to Romans 6:23, "the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

The Word began to speak to my heart, and I understood that I was on the way to damnation. Gripped with an unknown fear, I prayed to God to deliver me from my wretched ways. Since then I started reading the Bible daily and also listened to the Scriptural teachings at church interestingly. Gradually, being convicted of the Gospel truths, I confessed all my sins to Jesus and welcomed Him into my heart as my personal Savior and Lord.

As I decided to live according to the Word of God, I experienced many changes within me. God's peace and joy filled my inmost being, and I became a new creation. Before long, I made a public profession of my faith. Growing in the Lord, I cherished a desire to serve Him and make known His love to the perishing. While praying, the Lord called me for His ministry and in response, I enrolled in a Gospel For Asia Bible school to be equipped to fulfill His Great Commission.
