I was born May 20, 1970, in a nominal Christian family in India. Since I was brought up in a traditional Christian family, I faithfully followed the church traditions more than the truth of God's Word. I had no personal relationship with the Lord. As the days passed, my interest in attending church services soon wore off. But to please my parents, I regularly participated in the services.

I was leading a life without any peace or happiness. It was at this time that my older brother came to the saving knowledge of Christ and became His follower. He encouraged me to spend time in reading and meditating on the Scripture. The reading of the Word ignited in me a true love for Jesus. Soon, I was convicted of my lost state and the need for personal salvation. So, I invited Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior.

From then on, I began to walk closer with the Lord and actively took part in the programs in the local believers' church. Before long, I made a public profession of my faith. The Lord continued to fill me with His love and peace. Empowered by God, I began to bear witness of Him among the lost.

After I completed my secular studies, I began to work for a daily newspaper company. Meanwhile, the Lord blessed me with a godly life partner. Although I was working and earning a good salary, I always felt some discontentment in my heart. As I earnestly sought the will of God in prayer, my heart was moved with a passion to do the ministry. The Lord clearly confirmed His call upon me through different means. In obedience to my Master's call, I committed myself completely to the ministry. During this time, one of my relatives introduced me to a Gospel for Asia Bible School. Soon, the Lord guided me to enroll there to prepare myself for the ministry ahead and to learn the Word.
