I was born in a believers' family in India. I have parents, four sisters and a brother. From childhood, my parents encouraged me to attend worship services, Sunday school, and I involved in other spiritual programs. Being a Christian I never shared a personal relation with the Lord. Though I obeyed my parents in my young age, I began to disobey them when I grew older.

In my teens I befriended bad company and enjoyed the desires of the world in order to satisfy my evil desires. Many times, my parents admonished me, but it did not make any changes in my personal life. However I was not able to live in this manner for a long time. One day while attending the Sunday service, I heard the pastor share from the Word that was thought provoking.

After the worship the pastor began to preach about the sacrificial death of Jesus. Even though I was aware of the Biblical truth I never paid attention to it. While listening to the pastor I understood my wretched state and realized the need to be cleansed. Without further delay I confessed my sins and received Jesus as my personal Savior. Since then I began to walk closer with Jesus and experienced His presence in my life.

Before long, I made a public testimony of my faith. As the Lord took control of me, I changed completely. The Spirit of God enabled me to overcome all the temptations that had besieged me. Meanwhile, the Lord filled my heart with a burden for the perishing souls and confirmed that I was called to do the ministry. In obedience to God's call, I enrolled in a Bible School to be equipped for the task ahead of me.
