I was born October 10, 1989, into a nominal Christian family in India. I have parents and two sisters. My godly parents often taught me from the Word and told me the importance of obeying the Lord. Since childhood, I was regular in all the activities of the church such as Sunday school, Sunday services and all other prayer meetings not because of my love for the Lord but since my parents expected me to do so.

However, I failed to develop an intimate relationship with the Lord in my childhood days. As years passed, I began to feel emptiness deep down in my heart and was worried all the time no matter what I did. Gradually, there was no happiness among the family members and we often fought with each other. Due to that I was deeply sad and did not know how to overcome this. Day after day, I began to worry about my future and became restless.

In the meantime, our church pastor often used to come home and taught us from the Word. One day, I was greatly discouraged about my life and at that time the pastor happened to come home and saw me depressed. He asked me why I was sad, and I began to share with him about the peace that I lacked. Taking this as an opportunity, he started speaking from the Word and told me that I must commit myself to the Lord. While listening to him, tears started rolling from my cheeks, and I realized that I was far from God. Right there I confessed my sins and received Jesus as my personal Savior.

From then on, I began to experience inexpressible joy and peace that I had longed for many days. I then started spending more time in God's presence, praying and meditating on the Word. Before long, I made a public testimony of my faith. Gradually, I developed an intimate walk with the Lord through my daily devotions. As days went by, on seeing the people who were lost without Jesus, my heart was deeply burdened to reach them with His love. Through fervent time spent in prayer I was confirmed of God's calling, and enrolled in a Bible School to be trained for the great harvest ahead.
