My GFA Story
Half of the world is waiting to hear about Jesus for the first time and someone needs to tell them. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28:19). After I gave my life fully to the Lord in 2013 I knew that He was calling me to pour out my life for Him. I wasn't sure how He would have me do that, but I knew I needed to do something. The Lord used the two years I was part of Gospel for Asia's School of Discipleship program to opened my eyes to see all I could be a part of in serving full time here. Through the things I do here in the office I am able to make an eternal impact on lives coming to know Him as their personal Savior in Asia. I am able to pour my life out for Him here to see people reached with the Good News, but also I get to encourage and strengthen my brothers and sisters in the Lord. The Lord called me to forsake all and follow Him wherever He leads me with my whole life. "I have decided to follow Jesus."
What I do
I serve on the Donor Relations Team. As the gift entry manager, I help the team with processing the mail and donations that come into the ministry. My tasks include: opening mail, scanning it, making sure the donations are entered correctly, training the School of Discipleship student in my department, back-up phone for our call center and a variety of other things. It is a joy to work with a lovely group of ladies and to keep the work flow going in the department.
I also help lead worship during various prayer meetings and gatherings at GFA.
