My GFA Story
We believe our lives have value and purpose. Our value: We are children of God. Our purpose: Know Jesus and make Him known on earth. Serving at GFA enables us to help families in Asia discover the value and purpose God has given their lives, too. Although we serve behind the scenes, our lives are linked with thousands of believers all around the globe, working together to demonstrate the glory and love of God among the nations.
We both have been involved with GFA since our youth: Emily was born to a GFA staff family, and I began helping my parents at GFA events at 15 years old and then joined GFA's School of Discipleship for a year after High School. The community and love of the GFA staff members have significantly influenced both our lives. This ministry holds a special place in our history and in our hearts today.
What I do
I serve in the Fulfillment department, printing and mailing publications that help people in the West engage with GFA’s work in Asia. I also help facilitate the prayer ministry, providing coordination and structure to GFA’s prayer meetings.
Emily serves in the Writing department; writing and editing brochures, articles, blog posts and many other things. We are expecting our first baby, so soon Emily will be home taking care of our daughter.
