My GFA Story
In 2007, when our nest became empty, we began to seek the Lord for His direction for the next season of our lives. We prayed and waited, and prayed even more. In 2010, we heard a radio broadcast called "Road to Reality" and were introduced to the ministry of GFA. GFA carries the message of Christ's love to millions of people in Asia, many of whom have never heard the Name of Jesus Christ. GFA's home team, here in the U.S., plays a vital role in equipping thousands of national workers working, carrying the message of hope found in Christ to those who have yet to hear. We are greatly privileged to serve the Lord in the home office.
What I do
Ron works in the Ministry Partnerships department where he designs Photobooks. The books provide a visual thank you to donors who have invested in the Lord’s work on the field in varying ways. They provide a way to bring the field right into our donor’s living rooms, giving them a glimpse into the impact their prayers and gifts have made. Cynthia also serves in the Ministry Partnerships department as an administrator, providing administrative support for the workflow of the department. We want to, most of all, thank them for their participation, pray for needs, share timely stories and reports, and encourage and challenge them to do more to reach those in Asia who need to know God’s love. We do this through personal visits, small group gatherings, phone calls, emails, photobooks and other electronic media.
