My GFA Story
During my first year of School of Discipleship in 2013, I had to decide whether I wanted to follow Jesus and serve Him because that's what my family does, or because that's what I was going to choose. And I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back.
Jesus has given me a desire to tell other people about Him, especially people who have never heard His name. So many of those precious people live in Asia, in areas where I'm not free to go and share the Good News. But by serving with Gospel for Asia, I can actually help minister to them!
God has really spoken to me about why I serve here through two Scripture passages: Matthew 28:19-20 and Psalm 40:8-10. The command to "go and make disciples" applies to me, and that's the reason why God left the church here on earth. My prayer has been, "I desire to do your will, my God," from Psalm 40:8, and He gave me my call to "proclaim His faithfulness in the great assembly."
What I do
Imagine a national worker knocking on a door to ask, “Do you know Jesus?” The reply is, “I don’t know Jesus, but maybe you can find him in the next village.” Billions of people on earth have never yet heard the name of Jesus, but by God’s grace, I get to be part of sharing His love with them by serving in GFA’s Web Department.
It’s a privilege to oversee the Web team, write code to maintain our website, design graphics and plan content for our web communications. My role in the Web department plays a direct part in serving alongside our brothers and sisters on the mission field, helping enable them to touch many lives with the transforming love of Christ.
