At only 28 years old, Gospel for Asia-supported pastor Alhad faithfully serves the Lord with his family.

3 / 17

Every day, Pastor Alhad stocks up on Gospel tracts and gives them to those in his village and the surrounding neighborhoods.

4 / 17

He stamps his name, phone number and address on the back of each tract so people can contact him if they want to know more about Christ and what they just read.

5 / 17

His wife, Jasum, joins him whenever he goes out to share Christ's love. Because she accompanies him, Alhad is able to share the Good News with everyone—including women. With his wife by his side, he finds it much easier to reach out to the women who are at home while their husbands are out working.

Alhad takes every opportunity to explain the message of hope to those who are willing to listen.

A tract spoke to this man. Sajan grew up going to temples and worshiping many gods and goddesses. But his gods didn't help him find a job. He struggled a lot and had a heavy debt of 200,000 rupees ($3,872) burdening his shoulders.

One day while he was out walking, he agonized over what would help him during this difficult time in his life. That's when a little booklet lying on the road caught his eye. He picked it up and started to read it.

9 / 17

As he read the Gospel literature, which happened to be one of Pastor Alhad's tracts, peace began to flood into his heart. He wanted to know more about this God, so he found Pastor Alhad's phone number on the back of the tract and called him immediately.

Pastor Alhad explained the tract to him over the phone, but Sajan decided he would go visit the pastor and learn more. When they met, Alhad further explained how Christ came to save each lost and depraved heart by dying on the cross.

11 / 17

Alhad also brought out his Bible and taught Sajan from God's Word.

12 / 17

After their meeting, Pastor Alhad started praying for Sajan every day during his personal quiet time, that God would open Sajan's heart to know Jesus more intimately.

13 / 17

Pastor Alhad encouraged Sajan to come to church and learn more about Christ. Sajan did, and he devoured God's Word, hungry to learn more.

14 / 17

He even went to prayer meetings that took place in believers' homes. Eventually, Sajan chose to follow the Lord Jesus.

15 / 17

Pastor Alhad introduced Sajan to another GFA-supported pastor, Prajit, who lives closer to Sajan.

16 / 17

Pastor Prajit frequently meets with Sajan to disciple and pray for him.

17 / 17

Today, Sajan is witnessing the Lord answer prayers: He found a job where he is able to pay off his debt, and he even found a wife! "God heard my prayers," Sajan shared. "He has blessed me."

For only $1 you can provide 200 Gospel tracts for a missionary like Alhad.
