On average, each GFA staff member represents 200 national missionaries.
Behind every missionary on the field, there’s a team of missionaries working behind the scenes—right here in Texas.
“And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?”
—Romans 10:14b–15
That question is the heart of why we exist. As national missionaries in Africa and Asia share Christ’s love in word and deed, they need a team of people to support them. That’s where GFA’s staff in Wills Point, Texas, comes in. These staff members are the vital link, helping make the work on the field expand and grow. They work as writers, developers, gift processors and more. We call them behind-the-scenes missionaries.
This dedicated team of staff members in Texas is working with churches and individuals across the country, together taking the message of Christ to people around the world.
There are many ways to be part of fulfilling the Great Commission. Serving as a GFA World staff member may be the right fit for you if:
You desire Christ to be the Lord of how you live. The idea of knowing Him and making Him known excites you.
Regardless of skill and talent, you’re willing to learn and serve, however and wherever needed if it means more people get to experience the love of Christ.
You want to spend your days doing something that makes an eternal difference in the lives of others, and not just chasing the American Dream.
You want to live life alongside other brothers and sisters in Christ, joining together in work, prayer and mutual encouragement.
Being a behind-the-scenes missionary at GFA World can be incredibly fulfilling, but that doesn’t mean it is always easy. Serving the Lord comes with costs, and we want to be transparent about what we ask of our staff here.
Staff serve in person in Wills Point, Texas. For most, that means moving.
Serving here is a full-time commitment; it’s not an exclusively nine-to-five or side job. Our staff here knows that means sometimes we work evenings or weekends, we have prayer meetings and things that happen outside of normal office hours.
All staff work to raise a team of prayer and financial supporters. This helps enable more resources to go to the field—and ensures that a team of people are praying for you. GFA World helps provide you with the training needed to support-raise successfully.
You may be hired for one role and in time moved to other roles, based on the ministry’s needs. A willingness to learn and grow is essential. We’re looking for a “yes” to the mission, not just to a specific role.
Staff and their families come together for regular times of prayer—daily, weekly and monthly. GFA World was built on prayer and is sustained by prayer.
These are the roles we’re praying to fill right now. If your skill set isn’t listed, there may still be a place for you.

GFA staff members for 20+ years
Many of our friends and family members have expressed to us that they do not understand how we could give up the American Dream and life of ease we had achieved. But we know we have not given up anything, as 100 years from now, we will experience heaven with millions who have experienced the love of Jesus through GFA.
