How I Came to Know Christ
I was born on 12-December-1998, into a Christian family in Madhya Pradesh, India. I have parents, four sisters and two brothers. My father is a farmer and my mother is a housewife. Although I was brought up in a Christian family, I did not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Since childhood, my parents took me to the Sunday services and other spiritual activities in the church. Though I participated in all the activities, I was far from the Lord. Later, I was attacked by the powers of darkness and was not able to eat or sleep properly.
Therefore, I went to the church and shared my problem with the pastor. The pastor encouraged me with the Word and assured me of God’s deliverance in my life. Since then, the pastor constantly visited my home and prayed for the deliverance. As a result of constant prayers, I received deliverance from the powers of darkness. Since then, I continued to attend the church and listened to the Word of God. The Holy Spirit enabled me to understand that Jesus is the true Savior. Hence, with a repentant heart, I confessed my sins and received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. Later, I was baptized in water to testify my faith publicly.
As days went by, a great desire grew in my heart to study God’s Word and serve Him. I upheld this matter in prayer to know the will of God for my life. The Lord confirmed me of my calling and opened a way for me to enroll in a Bible School to study the Word in-depth. After my training, I joined the ministry to serve my Master.
How I am Serving the Lord
Presently, I am serving the Lord as a Bible woman among the Hindu majority in India. The various ways through which I share the love of Christ are Gospel tract distribution, house visitation and organizing women’s fellowship meetings and Sunday school. Besides, I work among widows and poor children.
Please pray for me as I serve the Lord among the unreached.
