I was born on August 11, 1972 into a nominal Christian family in India. My family fulfilled the traditions of the church as God was not the Savior in our lives. As I grew older, I began to feel hollowness in the practices, and I longed to know the truth.
Fortunately, a pastor began visiting with the Word. As my interest to know Jesus increased, four women cleared all my doubts and shared the love of God from their walk with the Lord.
I was pierced to know my helpless condition as a sinner and the need for a Redeemer. I accepted Jesus as my Savior. One day, I publicly testified of my faith.
The news of my conversion did not stay a secret for long. My violent father and villagers turned against me, but my mother and siblings encouraged me. Soon, the members of my family, except my father, turned to Jesus.
The Lord gave me a compassionate heart for the dying souls, and I surrendered my life for full-time evangelistic work. The pastor helped me enroll in a mission-oriented Bible school.
