Church Buildings
Gospel for Asia missionary Sugad has a good problem. Many people are choosing to follow Christ as a result of his ministry. These new believers meet for worship and prayer in Sugad's home each week. But today, his congregation will no longer fit into his small house. They desperately need a church building.
Sugad—and hundreds of other GFA missionaries—are in the same situation. They want to worship Jesus, but need a place to do that! Right now, there are more than 1,000 congregations throughout Asia waiting for a church building to call their own.

| The rapid growth of the church in Asia means that God is giving us thousands of opportunities to provide a congregation of new, first-generation Christians with a church building to call their own. |
The good news is that it only costs about $11,000 to provide a simple church building that can accommodate up to 300 people for a worship service. How can they do it so cheaply?
What these congregations lack in resources, they make up for in eagerness and enthusiasm. The believers donate some of the materials and as much of the labor as they can.
For them, this small structure is more than a building. It is a concrete block shelter from persecution. It is proof to the village that God cares for them. It is a place to escape the storms of life and worship the Savior.
