The Bible tells us how our sins can be forgiven and guides us to salvation. It is our light, our comfort and our guide in following Christ.
If the Bible is all this, what then is the fate of more than 99 percent of Asia's 3 billion people who have no access to God's Word? Literally thousands of believers are waiting to receive a copy of the Bible in a language they can understand.
GFA World's Bible Society was created to fill that void. Our mission is to make the Bible available in the languages of the people of South Asia.
The work begins with missionaries who spend long hours translating God's Word into hundreds of languages spoken in South Asia—one language at a time.
The next step is to print the Bibles and New Testaments. GFA Bible Society operates a busy print shop in southern India where more than 25 million pieces of Gospel literature are produced each year.
These boxes contain copies of the New Testament. Their next stop will be a truck that carries them through jungles, up mountains and into remote areas where they will be distributed to people who may have never even seen a copy of the Bible.
This New Testament is in the Telugu language, which is spoken by an estimated 70 million people in India and six other Asian countries.
These families each received New Testaments in the Hindi language. It is a rare privilege for these Asian believers to own a Bible.
This man could not wait to read his copy of God's Word.
God's Word brings joy to the hearts and lives of these grateful believers.
Caring friends have generously provided copies of the Scriptures for their Asian brothers and sisters. Each $3 donation pays for one Bible and New Testaments can be produced for just 50 cents each.
