In spite of drastic political turmoil in her country of Nepal, this little girl is learning about Jesus' love at her Bridge of Hope school.
Her village is in a remote, hilly area where no education was available until Gospel for Asia missionary Kabi came.
Pastor Kabi started the Bridge of Hope school a little over a year ago. There are 140 students in grades K-5.
Today, he is making plans for a new church building as a result of all the villagers who learned of Christ's love through the influence of the children.
Pastor Kabi and his family spend much time in prayer for their ministry—and for their country.
These children have lived their entire lives amid violence. In fact, more than 14,000 people have been killed in the Maoist insurgency over the past 10 years.
While they never know what the next day may bring, Pastor Kabi's Bridge of Hope team continues in faith, making the most of the opportunity before them.
And their students are growing up with trust in a mighty, loving God to whom they can turn no matter what happens next.
