Text from this PhotoShow:
Sibu Samuel is a Gospel for Asia worker translating the Bible into an Indian tribal language.
Many laborious hours of work are required to see the completion of this Bible translation, and the project may take 25 years!
Yet Sibu and his team desire to see God's Word translated into every language in India, regardless of the hard work ahead of them.
Hours are spent on the computer, translating passages of the Bible.
One of Sibu's responsibilities is proofing the work before it goes to the web press.
Sibu and his team are also translating school books that will be used to teach this particular language group about the love of Jesus.
Sibu recently finished a school book that will be used to teach the children how to read in their own language. Many have never gone to school before.
All the long hours in translation are worth it to see these children read the Bible for the first time.
The children are excited to learn about Jesus in their own native tongue.
Sibu's prayer is that these children will come to know the Lord and bring others to the saving knowledge of Him.
By the grace of God and the faithful service of Sibu and his staff, many new churches will be planted and hundreds will come to know the Lord.
