eBay Sellers

You can support work on the mission field and help people in need by selling on eBay! Just choose Gospel for Asia to receive a portion of the funds from your sale. Here's how:

  1. After logging into eBay, click on the "Sell" link.

  2. Click the "Start Selling" button.

  3. Describe the item you're selling, and then select a category for it.

  4. When the "Choose a Listing Form" page appears, select "More listing choices."*

  5. Scroll down the page to the "Choose how you'd like to sell your item" header and find the "eBay Giving Works" section.

  6. (Don't see it? Click on the link that says "Add or remove options" inside the yellow header, and put a check in the box next to "Donate a Percentage of Sale.")

  7. Do a search for Gospel for Asia and select us as your non-profit organization.

  8. Choose a percentage of the final sale price to donate. (NOTE: there's a minimum donation of $5 if your item sells.)

  9. Review and accept the eBay Giving Works Terms Conditions.(You'll only have to do this once.)

  10. In the "Describe the item you're selling" section, we recommend that you include a statement like this:"______ percent of the proceeds from this item's sale will be donated to Gospel for Asia. To find out more about this ministry, go to www.gfa.org."

  11. Complete the "Sell Your Item" form and submit your listing.

  12. MissionFish** will process your donation and send you the receipt for it.

Now you're all set! It's that easy.

*You can also use Turbo Lister, Blackthorne, ChannelAdvisor, Infopia, Vendio, and Kyozou to create eBay Giving Works listings. To find out how, please check with your provider. If you are unsure whether your favorite listing tool supports eBay Giving Works listings, be sure to ask!

**MissionFish, in partnership with eBay Giving Works, handles the administration of the donation and gives the seller a receipt for their charitable contribution. The administrative expenses for MissionFish vary according to the sale price of the item, with a maximum of 20 percent of the donation amount.
