Text from this PhotoShow:
Pastor John Mandek is the GFA World district supervisor in the northern part of India's Goa state.
He is also the pastor of a church that currently meets in a local community hall on Sunday, free of rent. They are fortunate, because most churches pay large sums to meet in buildings to worship the Lord.
Some days the ladies and other members of the congregation travel with him for outreach in nearby villages.
Pastor Mandek and the outreach team share the Gospel with the villagers and invite them to visit the church the next Sunday.
The Sunday services last for about two hours with much prayer, praise and preaching.
Pastor Mandek preaches to his congregation with gentleness as he tells them of the love of Jesus Christ.
Many visitors come and ask for prayer regarding health and demon possession.
But the community hall is getting too small as more people come to hear about the Lord.
This church family is rapidly growing. Having their own building would be a great blessing, and buildings give the church a testimony in the village about Jesus Christ.
