I was born on May 4, 1984 in an non-Christian family in India. As an ardent non-Christian, I followed all the beliefs linked with the worship of natural objects and ancestor worship. Though I pursued all the customs, I never had peace.
As I grew up, I felt that my parents had no concern and my longing for love remained unfulfilled. Meanwhile I fell sick and was in the hospital, but doctors gave up hope.
At this juncture, I happened to meet a pastor who made me realize the value of my life. He shared with me about Jesus. The words he spoke penetrated deep into my heart and made me realize that I was a sinner.
I asked forgiveness for all my wrongdoings. To my surprise I felt a divine touch. After getting a thorough understanding of the Word, I received Jesus as my Savior. As I began to meditate on the Word, a desire to study the Word grew in me. Through prayer I was confirmed of God’s call and enrolled in a Gospel for Asia Bible School.
