I was born February 15, 1992, into a non-Christian family in India. My father passed away when I was very young. Before knowing the living God, I was worshipping numerous gods and goddesses.
As I grew up, I began to run after the momentary joy that the world offered me. My bad company of friends influenced me to practice bad habits. Eventually, I was addicted to alcohol and disobeyed my parents.
One day, a Gospel team visited our village. They screened a film on the life of Christ named Passion of Christ. Along with my friends, I went to watch the film. It was about Jesus birth and how He lived on this earth and healed people from diseases. Moreover, I came to know that Jesus was crucified on the cross for the redemption of the sinful humanity and after three days He rose again from the death. While watching this, I realized that I was a sinner. Thus, I knelt down and cried bitterly before the Lord to forgive my sins. Soon, I confessed my sins to Christ and received Him as my personal Savior.
Meanwhile, I had a desire to serve the Lord. Then on, I earnestly prayed for the matter. While praying, the gracious Lord confirmed me of my calling. Later, with the help of my pastor, I enrolled in a GFA Bible School.
