I was born into a nominal Christian family in India. My family consists of eight members. My father passed away and my mother is taking care of us. I grew up without knowing the Lord.
As I grew up, I led a reckless life. I made friends with bad people. I led a life according to the worldly pleasures. My father was a drunkard. He became severely sick and passed away. But, when he was in his death bed, he told me to lead a godly life. It touched my heart.
Meanwhile, a pastor visited my home. He spoke to me that salvation could be found only from Jesus. He told me to return to Him. I was encouraged by his words. As I realized that I was a sinner, I confessed my sins and received Jesus as my personal Savior.
From then on, I left all my bad habits behind and led an exemplary life before others. I spent quality time with the Almighty, dwelling in His Word. As I matured spiritually, the desire to reach out to the lost through the love of Christ grew in me. As I meditated on this, He confirmed His calling on my life for His ministry. Therefore, I enrolled in a GFA Bible School.
