I was born in a non-Christian family in Myanmar. My father was the mentor of my spiritual life and he taught me all the rites and rituals of our religion.
When I was eight years old, I was sent to the Nuns Monastery to learn the religious teachings. It was a tough time for me as I had to go out early morning door to door asking for food for my livelihood.
It was during this time, a severe cyclone hit our village which took many lives along with it. However, our family was completely saved from such horrific disasters. Though I had received good training from the monastery, at this disastrous hour, I got hold of a Bible that I had once received from an evangelist. As I flipped through the pages the chapter that I got to read was Psalms 91. Each and every word that was written in it brought great peace to my troubled heart. It was then I understood that it was God who helped my family from this terrible situation. Thereby, I confessed my sins and received Him as my personal Savior.
Soon, I joined the local church and worshipped the Lord. Meanwhile, I decided to witness my Redeemer to the lost and waited upon the Lord for His will in my life. Assured of the high call, I enrolled in a GFA Bible School.
