I was born on October 10, 1992, into a believers’ family in Myanmar. Both at home and church, I was instructed not to live in a sinful way. I tried my best to do the right thing, but I had no assurance of my salvation as I did not know the Lord personally.
The friends at my school tried to influence me to do sinful things. But I never listened to them as I wanted to obey my parents. Because of this, I did not have any close friends and I felt lonely.
Sometime later, the pastor of my church invited me to join a group of people for a time of seeking God. We fasted and prayed for three days. While I was praying, I felt the Lord speaking to my heart. It brought me joy to sense the Lord’s presence. I realized that despite my effort to do good things, I was a sinner. I confessed my sins to God and received Jesus as my personal Savior.
That summer, I traveled as part of a Gospel team. Throughout the trip, I gained a hunger to study God’s Word and do ministry among the most unreached areas. As I waited on the Lord, He confirmed this calling, and I enrolled in a Gospel for Asia Bible School.
