I was born into a non-Christian family in Nepal. I have parents and five older brothers. Being devout non-Christians, my parents were strict in observing religious practices and rituals.
My parents used to celebrate every festival without fail. Serving alcohol was common in every celebration. Both my parents used to drink alcohol. Later, my mother suffered from an unknown sickness. She was taken to the hospital, but she found no improvement.
At this time, one of my neighbors visited my home and encouraged us with the Word. Then, she constantly visited my home and prayed for my mother. Gradually, we started to attend the church. The pastor and believers earnestly prayed for my mother. Miraculously, my mother received complete healing. This miracle made me and my family to realize Jesus as the true God. We then confessed our sins and received Him as our personal Savior.
After receiving Jesus, we faced lots of opposition from our relatives. Yet, the Lord helped us to stand firm in our faith. As I was growing in the Lord, my pastor encouraged me to do God’s ministry and to seek His will. Thus, He confirmed my calling and I enrolled in a Bible School to train myself for the ministry ahead. After my graduation, I began to serve the Lord to extend His kingdom.
