Missionary Laxmi

I was born on September 29, 1970 into a non-Christian family in Nepal. My parents taught me from a young age to perform rituals and worship numerous gods.
Very often, I suffered from a terrible headache, stomachache and eye problems. I underwent several treatments. But my condition did not improve. One day, I went with my friend to her sister’s house, a Christian family. There, I fell sick again. The medicines I took did not ease my pain. My friend’s sister and family told me that if I believed in Jesus, He would heal me.
When the children of God prayed for me, I experienced the divine touch and was healed! As they shared the Gospel with me, I repented of my sins and received Jesus as my Savior.
Though my parents were happy that I was healed, they did not want me to be a Christian. However, I was determined and my love for Jesus became very strong. Meanwhile, the Lord called me to serve Him, and I enrolled in a Bible school.
