Missionary Sabita

I was born on February 26, 1991 into a non-Christian family in Nepal. As a part of our tradition, we worshipped idols and visited temples to observe rituals. We believed that if we pleased our gods and goddesses, they would bless us. The more we worshipped idols, the more we faced problems.
In course of time, a group of missionaries came to our home and shared about Jesus Christ with us. We were surprised to hear that when we prayed in Jesus’ name, the powers of darkness would leave us. After praying for us, they gave us some Gospel tracts.
That night we had peace in our hearts. A few weeks later when the men of God came home, we listened to them share about Christ. That day, my mother gave her heart to Jesus.
I went to a church with my mother. There, I heard the pastor explain about Christ’s love. Deeply touched, I surrendered myself to Jesus and invited Him to be my Lord and Savior.
As I continued to attend church, I felt that God was calling me to tell His truth to the lost. In due time, my Savior opened a door for me to enroll in a Bible School.
