Orissa persecution 2008

Watch this video to hear some of the interviews of those who were brutally attacked in the 2008 Orissa persecution against our brothers and sisters in Asia.

Beatings. Death threats. Imprisonment. For many Gospel for Asia-supported missionaries, this has become a daily encounter. Despite this intense hostility, our brothers and sisters are continuing to press onward as they boldly proclaim the love of Jesus to all those who are unsaved throughout Asia.

Jesus promised His followers that the world would hate and persecute them, and these missionaries are fully aware of this reality. Following hard after Christ’s own heart, our brothers and sisters are not willing that any should perish without hearing the name of Jesus, even if that means death for them.

"For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." -Philippians 1:21
