Home to Arunachal Pradesh’s capital city of the same name, the Itanagar Region is located in the mountain foothills. With a mild climate, forests and lakes, the Itanagar Region boasts beauty and cultural diversity.

There are many different people groups that make up the unique population. The region is heavily influenced by Tibetan culture as well. And there is a well-known Buddhist temple in the area.

Most people work in the fields, while others raise livestock or maintain fish farms. Many of the women are known for selling intricately woven textiles, and men are often experts in handcrafted bamboo items.
