She Should Be Dead

For nine years, Bhidami battled an unknown force. She roamed around their village confused. When her children would go after her, she'd yell at them, "Who are you?! You are not my children! Why are you coming after me?"

The family had tried to get Bhidami help. They spent thousands of dollars seeking healing that didn't work.

Then their uncle Nanuram, who was dying from tuberculosis, stumbled across a radio program that told him about the healing power of Jesus.

"I am going to pray for you," the radio speaker said. " If you have any kinds of problem . . . pray along with me."

Nanuram and his family prayed with the radio speaker for Nanuram to be healed.

After the prayer, Nanuram sat up in bed. "I feel better," he said, amazed. "I'm not going to die. I think Jesus healed me!"

When Bhidami’s daughter, Santosh, saw how God had heal her uncle, she wondered if He could also heal her mother.

They started listening to the radio daily, and even seeing others in their family be healed as they would pray along with the radio speaker. Yet still Bhidami wasn't getting better, but worse. Bhidami had stopped eating. If something didn't change soon, she was going to die.

In desperation, Santosh and her parents, siblings, cousins, aunt and uncle—14 in total—traveled more than 100 miles in search of help at the office mentioned on the radio program.

When they arrived, the GFA-supported workers there were able to answer all their questions about Jesus and pray for Bhidami.

Immediately after the prayer, they noticed Bhidami was different. She asked for tea and seemed more coherent than usual. The despair she and her family used to face was replaced with hope and joy! Everyone was amazed to see the transformation that had taken place in Bhidami's life!

Today there is a growing fellowship of believers meeting in Nanuram's house. The entire family is thankful for the radio broadcasts that have brought life and hope to their family.
