My GFA Story
I grew up hearing about GFA through their books and videos. In 2012 I started doing volunteer work at the office off and on over the course of the next few years. During this time, I began to feel the Lord calling me to be doing this more long-term. So, I joined their School of Discipleship program in 2015 and then came on staff not long after. I love being a part of the ministry that GFA does in sharing the light and hope of Christ. It is also amazing to get to serve alongside people who are passionate about God and His Kingdom.
What I do
I serve in development at GFA. A large part of that is doing administrative work for our development strategist. I help facilitate specific projects and do things like schedule meetings, process information that comes in, organize stories and reports so that they can used effectively, helping with web journalistic pieces, blogs, special reports, and working with other departments in development. I get to help keep things on track and running smoothly.
