My GFA Story

A day after I began seeking a true relationship with Christ, I first heard about GFA through my aunt, who works there. She told me about their apprenticeship program. After learning a bit more, and through much prayer and dialogue with the Lord, I felt it wasn't the right time. This all happened in the summer of 2024, and after about a month, GFA left my mind. At Christmas 2024, my aunt brought it up again and encouraged me to attend the ministry's young people retreat in June 2025. At that retreat, the Lord opened my eyes and expanded my worldview. I learned about the billions who have never heard of Christ, which deeply shocked me. I struggled to believe it at first. I then read Revolution in World Missions, which showed me the scale and effectiveness of the ministry. For months, I had been praying for the Lord to give me a place to labor in His kingdom, and here it was. I became confident this was the direction God was leading me. I applied for the apprenticeship and was accepted. During that time, the Lord made it clear this was not short-term, leading me to join Staff.

What I do

I am a call center specialist. This position gives me the opportunity to be one of the first links for any sponsors or donors, who have a question or issue with their account, or want to simply make a donation to GFA World. I enjoy this position a lot and am very thankful that the Lord chose call center to be one of the things I do for the Ministry.
