Diagnosed with cancer and with a weak heart that would fail with operation, sister Kanga was terrified of dying. She pleaded with her gods to heal her, saying she hadn't done anything bad but had always served and worshipped them faithfully. But her gods didn't answer her.
One day Kanga was crying under a mango tree when a Gospel for Asia-supported missionary came by and shared how Jesus can heal her. As a last plea for help, she traveled to the pastor's church and learned how to pray to Jesus. In less than 10 days, Kanga was healed! With this testimony of healing in her life, Kanga put her trust in Jesus and decided to follow only Him.
There are many like Kanga who have experienced the love of the true and living God. Though they are often shunned by their families and neighbors because of their newfound faith, they continue to persevere. Learn more about women's ministry in Asia.
