More than 6,500 young adults from GFA World’s field partner churches gathered together for a week of worship and teaching just a few months ago. They travelled from many regions across South Asia, and for some of them, it was the first time interacting with believers from other cultures.

Excitement and joy filled each day of the week-long conference. Every morning began with celebrating Communion at 6:30 a.m., and the schedule was jam packed with events to help these 15 to 26-year-olds grow in their faith. In between worship times, meals, cultural programs, tea time and small group breakout sessions, the youth learned about worship, prayer, understanding the life of Christ, and living by God’s Word—along with so much more.

We praise God to see so many young people wanting to know the Lord and follow Jesus with their lives. Many of the youth made commitments to serve the poor and needy in this generation in the years to come.

• Be able to be a light in the community around them
