How often the Apostles told us, “Fight for unity,”. 1. “Love one another,”. 2. “Get the two people to talk together,”. 3. “Stop fighting.”. 4. These are all instructions for us to follow so that we can grow in what it means to love one another. But like I said before, we won’t get anywhere if we do it in our own strength. My encouragement is to turn to the Lord for His help. Ask Him. He is faithful to answer. You can even pray something simple, like, “Lord, I want to know You more. Help me to love people like You do.”.

If the Body of Christ worldwide would have been burdened for them one, five or ten years ago, how many of them could have been reached with the love and salvation of Jesus Christ before they perished? It's too late now-for those who died and for us who missed the opportunity. However, the tsunami survivors are still with us, along with millions of others across Asia who don't know the love of Christ. Let us not wait for another catastrophe to take place before we get concerned about them. Instead, let us cry out to the Lord to give us a burden for them now, and let us make a resolution to pray and share our resources to help meet their needs and introduce them to Jesus while we have the opportunity

The arid, hot climate and rugged, hilly terrain of Rajasthan, India, make it unfavorable for agriculture, yet poor villagers continue to do their best to scratch a living out of the hard, stubborn ground. One of the major problems the people in Rajasthan face is limited access to clean water for cooking and drinking. Imagine if you had to walk for miles to get any water and then had to carry the heavy pots of water all the way back . This can be even more difficult for the Dalits ('Untouchables') because the high cast people often won't let them draw from the local community wells. This is where a GFA World Jesus Well comes in.

The next time we see our brother or sister discouraged and confused, let us not say with our mouth, 'I will pray for you,' while in our heart we are saying, 'You creep, don't you know better?'. Instead, let us encourage them to keep looking at what Jesus is doing and see the difference that their lives are making for the kingdom of God. And one more thing: When Jesus talked to the crowds about John, He never mentioned John's doubt and confusion. Instead, He made the most amazing statements about John's life and ministry.

I am well aware that the idea of embracing suffering does not fit our 21st-century concept of following and serving Christ. Yet the Bible teaches that suffering for Him is our privilege:. 'For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake'. (Philippians 1:29).
