My GFA Story

The Lord first called me to GFA World through joining the six-month apprenticeship program in the fall of 2024. As I experienced the ministry through the program, the Lord changed my heart and my life. He gave me an excitement for what our ministry does and why it’s so important. As my graduation date neared in the spring of 2025, it became undeniable, the Lord was calling me to join staff. It has been such an honor to be called here to serve and to see how the Lord is working through the body of Christ.

What I do

I work in the Digital department. There are many different things the department does, creating websites, online advertising, writing emails, designing, and more! In the department, we often work together using our various skills the Lord has given us, or growing in new skills. My primary role in the department is the community social media manager for Instagram. I get the opportunity to highlight our US based staff on a personal level, showing their direct impact on the field. Whether it’s promoting the apprenticeship program, showing what life is like as a behind-the-scenes missionary, or showing our community on campus, the goal is to show and reflect the heart of the ministry and why we do what we do. To share the love of Christ to those who have never heard His name.
