My GFA Story

The Lord brought me here through the 6-month apprenticeship program in October 2024. As I worked and lived with the staff day in and day out, I saw the passion they have for the unreached in the 10/40 window. The dedication and sincerity of GFA staff, and their belief in the effectiveness of the ministry, was evident from the many years some of them have served at the ministry. I was praying about my future and where God would lead me and halfway through my apprenticeship program in March 2025 the Lord gave me the peace and excitement to join staff. I'm honored to be able to support those who are sharing the love of Christ with those who have never heard, have children's lives changed at a young age and for communities to be transformed through meeting specific needs, all for the glory of God!

What I do

I work in the Communications department. We write and design material to send out to our donors, sponsors and to new people. These things include an article called Rejoice, every couple of months we send out a letter focusing on a specific area of the ministry, and other miscellaneous work including making support brochures and business cards for staff. We utilize these mail pieces to tell people about how God is using GFA World to transform communities, tell people about about those who have yet to hear the Good News and what we can do. I'm the Production & Direct Mail Manager for the department, I work closely with our department leader to move projects forward effectively and keep things running smoothly. I track the writing process, designing process and also interact with printing and mailing vendors to fulfill our mailing jobs.
